Words of advice: RESEARCH YOUR LOCTICIAN!

🦋 Story time:
As a Certified Sisterlocks Consultant who also specializes in microlocs, I can’t begin to stress to you the importance of doing your due diligence when it comes to researching a credible loctician. A loctician that’ll adhere to your wants/needs while also guiding you on realistic goals catering your specific hair type. A certification doesn’t always mean qualified for the job! Go to multiple consultations, discuss what you learned at the previous consultation, ask questions, and make the loctician show you their work. CHALLENGE THEM! Afterall, sisterlocks & microlocs is an INVESTMENT and BABY, IT AIN’T CHEAP!

My transfer client received “Sisterlocks” from another certified consultant who installed locs 2X LARGER than Sisterlocks guidelines and blamed it on my client having low density hair. She received “Sisterlocks” totaling in the low 200s. The section of my clients hair that needed the most repairs held only THIRTY-SIX locs 🫣🥴 In that section alone, I was able to reinstall 88 sisterlocks!! Providing a much fuller look and an even happier client 🦋 This is definitely a work in progress with more repairs to come as we continue to document this journey! This is just the beginning and I’m determined to make this journey just as beautiful as my client! 🤞🏾LOC’D IN WITH VJB! 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
