The swim meet this weekend was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who came out and participated, the lifeguards had a great time with everyone. Congratulations to our swim race winners and log roll champions!

This event is free and open to all Stevens Pond patrons, with races for ages 3-11 and a log roll competition for all ages. Weather forecast is predicting a nice sunny day!

Join us Sunday July 26th at 1pm for our annual swim meet at Stevens Pond, with water race events for ages 3-11, including dog paddle, backstroke, and freestyle, plus a log roll competition for all ages!

Our weekly schedule of activities at Stevens Pond begins today with field games at 3pm! Kids of all ages are invited to join the lifeguards as they lead games to help everyone stay cool. Field games will be held every Monday at 3pm during the summer.

Look forward to our other activities, like arts & crafts on Tuesdays at 3pm and a nature hike along Lake Cochichewick on Wednesdays at 3pm. We can't wait to have a great summer with everyone here at Stevens Pond!

Our water test results have come back high again today at the pond, and unfortunately with this increase it is unlikely we will be able to bring the average down to permit swimming even with continued testing. Therefore the town has made the decision to close the pond early for the season. Our last day will be this Sunday, August 17th, with hours for the next three days 10am to 5pm.
The beach and playground will remain open through this time, and it looks like it will be sunny both Saturday and Sunday, so we will be setting up the sprinklers here for anyone looking to cool off on a hot day!
We were open much longer than other ponds in the area, so we're thankful we had as good of a season as we did! Thanks to everyone for a great summer at Stevens Pond!

The water is still closed at Stevens Pond today, August 13th. We are continuing to test daily, and our test levels are decreasing with each day, so we are hopeful that we may be open this weekend. Updates will be posted here when we can reopen for swimming. Again, the beach and playground remain open, and we have sprinklers set up on the sand!
