👑❤️🖤💚 SHE IS THE DEFINITION OF BRAINS, BEAUTY, BUSINESS ACUMEN, AND BOLD BLACK GIRL MAGIC! TODAY ON THIS FIRST DAY OF WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH, WE PROUDLY CELEBRATE THE BRILLIANT FIRST-GENERATION SCHOLAR AND YOUNG CEO, SHANIYA LOVE!

🎓 Shaniya Love is a freshman at Illinois State University majoring in Business and Entrepreneurship. As a first-generation college student, she carries not only her dreams, but the legacy of her family with her. Her goal? To one day take over and expand her family’s business and build generational wealth that lasts.

🏆📚 A proud Class of 2025 graduate of Oswego High School, Shaniya graduated as a High Honor Roll student and member of the Prom Court Royalty who was accepted into 11 colleges, and earned the prestigious National Dell Scholarship, receiving $20,000 toward her college education!

💅🏾💼 But her journey didn’t stop at academics. While still in high school, Shaniya enrolled in nail school, balancing dual responsibilities like a true boss. She earned her certifications and became a professional nail artist before graduation. Today, she owns and operates her own nail business, using her entrepreneurship to help pay her college tuition while gaining real-world experience in branding, client relations, scheduling, marketing, and financial management.

💇🏾‍♀️ Raised in a salon environment, Shaniya grew up immersed in the business of beauty. She witnessed firsthand what it takes to serve clients with care, build loyal relationships, and sustain a thriving business. That early exposure shaped her into a young woman who is creative, strategic, compassionate, and deeply people-centered.

🌍 And her impact reaches beyond her chair. Shaniya intentionally pours back into her community by encouraging younger girls and showing them what’s possible through consistency, confidence, and commitment to education. She understands that representation matters and she leads by example.
