Talk about a transformation!

My client Alana needed a little change and because she hadn’t been in since September she was definitely ready!

We started by taking off about 5 inches of hair and then I used 50vol developer to really make sure we got her light and bright. We finished with ice toner

My sister in law’s previous dark brown hair color prevented us from getting to her goal color in one visit.. which we knew heading into the appointment. *

The old dark brown hair color was on her midshafts and ends and lifted to a level six orange, while her regrowth lifted to a yellow level 8. So I had to formulate 2 different toners to counteract those unwanted tones and also to make sure they matched in the end. *
Long story short... what we got was this beautifully delicious color! And one step closer to our goal! *

When we first started my client’s natural gray hair was a bit all over the place. She had yellow through the top of her head and some faded purple through her midshafts from a purple shampoo that grabbed.
*
Before I could start her color, I knew a treatment was needed to clear out those unwanted tones and to also give me a nice clean slate to work with.
*
Then I went in and hand painted the darker gray tones throughout her hair to give her some soft dimension. I’m just a little obsessed with the results! What do you think?! 😍
