Over the years, I came into my own. According to I AM 53% European 47% West African and 100% Fabulous!!! 💯💯💯

Since the George Floyd murder split open the wounds of racism in the US, I’ve been thinking about what I could contribute to the conversation. I decided to write a multi-entry blog about my experience growing up 1/2 black 1/2 white entitled BEING BIRACIAL against the backdrop of the 1970s until present day. I can’t speak to police brutality but I can describe everyday moments growing up, AKA “the REAL history,” in which racism subliminally and blatantly impacted my identity and self-worth. It’s important to share our stories because sharing is admitting and admitting is owning and owning is the 1st step of rehabilitation, which our country desperately needs. My intention is to be raw in sharing my memories, feelings, damage, and healing so that we can all relate on a human level and begin to challenge systematic programming and embrace inclusion. Sit tight for the 1st installment of BEING BIRACIAL. Can’t wait to share my life story that is writing itself...

This is America

Let’s keep up this momentum all the way to the polls!

While we are outraged, fed up, and demanding change, let’s get PASSIONATE about spreading the word to VOTE in NOVEMBER! We can and must do both at the same time. YOUR VOTE IS YOUR VOICE!

We can yell all we want but if we don’t rally the troops to vote officials into office that have the power to change policy, our efforts are in vain. YOUR VOTE IS YOUR VOICE!!!

BLACK LIVES MATTER!!!
