Men’s mental health matters, and conversations like this matter because too often, we ask men to carry everything without giving them enough spaces to put some of it down.

In our community, creating spaces where men can talk openly about stress, relationships, fatherhood, grief, purpose, finances, and life isn’t a luxury. It’s community care.

That’s why I’m glad to see “Brutha, you Good?” happening at The Gentlemen's Club Barber Lounge. A barbershop can be more than a place to get a haircut. It can be a place where we check on each other, build brotherhood, and remind one another that it’s okay to say, “I’m not good right now.”

And sometimes the most important question we can ask another brother is the simplest:

“Brutha, you good?”

If you can, pull up, listen, share, and check on somebody you love.
