Anyone need their hair done? 😂🤣🤣

So…
I came across these products as I was looking through one of those “Amazon perfect rating must buy” lists. For like $28 each! 😧

I did some research, went to my supply shop and got all 3 for $25 plus tax.
(Deals change frequently)
I am truly in love! 😍😍😍
They also make a shampoo & conditioner to complete the line… I’ve never been a Sexy Hair shampoo/conditioner lover. However, after trying these styling products out?
I’m definitely intrigued.

If anyone’s interested in these, or if you’re in need of any products, let me know.
Don’t pay full price for products.
I can put an order in (even have it delivered) at anytime:) ♥️

Hope everyone’s having a good day! ☀️😎

ion Titanium Pro Curling Iron 02/21/2023

Everyone’s always asking about products… which I will get to. Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of requests if I could share some of my favorite styling tools. So… here’s my first fav! 😍

When I pick my go-to’s, I’m looking for: -durability
-quality
-easy to work with
-price

MY MOST FAVORITE CURLING IRON!!! 🫶
If I’ve curled your hair, I know you’ve seen this bad boy before! I’ll explain why:)

✂️ This is a salon quality curling iron. You can use it to create lots of different looks with this one tool.
✂️ I LOVE a extra long, swivel cord. This one has both. Nothing worse than constantly untangling cords. 🤦🏻‍♀️
✂️ It glides through the hair with ease, but at the same time, it’s strong enough to get a good clampdown.
✂️ Titanium is a great material for even heat distribution, making your curls last as long as possible. Titanium is a great heat conductor & is awesome for any hair type.
✂️ This has heating settings (in degrees). No low, medium, high.
TIP: 350-375 is best for most hair types. No need to jack it all the way up full blast! The lower the temp, lesser the possibility of damage. Also, using some kind of heat protectant is always the way to go)
✂️ This has the insulated tip to protect your fingers from burning. No gloves needed! A lot of higher quality curling irons do not have this. Makes my life much easier:)
✂️ This baby is affordable at around $40. 😳
I’ve had mine for years & it works just as well as the first day I bought it… and I’m using it several times a day. Hands down, my favorite curling iron I’ve ever owned.
For personal use, this should last a lifetime.
✂️ I personally Iove the 1 1/4” option. You could go with the 1” or even 1 1/2” (if you have super long hair)
In my opinion, it’s the perfect size for all hair lengths. The only exception is roller set short… however, this is even my go-to for chin length bobs. This will give you your loose beach wave curls that just look beautiful on everyone.

Hope this helps!!!! If you ever would like to set up a time where we get together & I do a one-on-one tutorial, let me know! I know it can be confusing if you’re not used to using it. I promise, once you get it, it’s so quick & easy.

Maybe we could get a few ladies together &!make a party out of it! 🥳
Might be fun?! 🤔
Let me know your thoughts!!!

Lacey,
XOXO

LETS TALK BOX COLOR!!! 😳

Of course I’m not the biggest fan! I’m sorry! I’ve seen too many people lately, trying to save some money, (which I TRUST ME, I totally understand!)… then end up having to spend way more to fix it. Truth is, color correcting products are not cheap.
It’s much easier & cost-efficient to get it right the first time.

As much as I’d rather book you an appointment, I also know it’s not always an option. I wanted to share some tips so if you choose to color your hair at home, hopefully, it is a successful experience ♥️

✂️ Permanent color is a 2-step process. It lifts the hair, then deposits color.
✂️ A permanent box color has a developer included in the box at 20% or higher. The higher that developer volume, the higher the potency of the lift in the 2-part process. Higher volume, higher the risk for damage.
✂️ Permanent color will only lift virgin hair. Meaning hair that has never had color on it… like ever. (If you have long hair, hair color will still be on the ends 2 years later.) However, it will work on your regrowth. Ever have your hair turn out looking super light at the scalp, but not on the ends? This is why! If you colored your hair brown prior to wanting to go blonde? That’s not going to happen with color. You’ll need a lightener & please don’t do that by yourself!
✂️ You should only be using permanent color if you have virgin hair & want to go a few shades lighter OR if you have gray hair. If you have gray hair, you only want that color on your new growth. (No need to put it all over your head!)
✂️ Make sure you are getting enough product! There’s usually only a 2oz. color tube in there, giving you 4oz. of product. You don’t want to do half your head, then realize you don’t have enough! Better to be safe than sorry.
✂️ If you have virgin hair, you want to apply the color to the midsection first, then your roots & ends last. The heat from your head adds to the lifting power & you’ll end up with your roots lighter than the rest of your hair. Your ends are usually the most fragile, they will quickly pick up the color.
✂️ Now. If you only want to go darker & have no issues with gray hair... use a DEMI color! Demi color processes in one step. No lift, only deposits color. This is still permanent! It just uses a lower developer volume. Little to no damage, more color payout. Make sure to get the developer recommended with the color line you choose. They are all different & require different amounts of each. Read the directions carefully!
✂️ If you are someone with gray hair & you want to refresh the color on your ends? Use a demi color, a shade higher than your root color. This will eliminate color buildup. (When your hair starts feeling hard & crunchy? That’s color buildup! This will cause your hair to break at the ends & prevent hair growth.)
✂️ Do not use a permanent color as a toner! Remember, you only want to deposit color in this step. Use a demi color that will cancel out the unwanted tones. (Green for reds, blue for copper, violet for yellow/gold tones)
✂️ Get a healthy trim & conditioning treatment after your at home color. The ingredients can be much harsher on your hair than professional products, causing more breakage & extra hair loss.
✂️ Try not to go too drastic with the color change. If you’re going to do this at home, stay close to your natural color & have someone help you! Read the directions. Use the gloves! Save them for when you rinse it out. Baby wipes & hand sanitizer work for color on your skin. Try to get it off before it dries.

✂️ Most importantly!!! I cannot stress this enough! Do NOT use Splat on your hair & expect it to ever come out! Do NOT use color with metallic dyes or salts! No henna! It can be harmful to your hair & extremely difficult to work with if you ever want to change your color.

✂️ If things go south, I’M HERE TO HELP! Luckily, there are now professional products available to reverse most of the damage box color can cause. Unfortunately, most color corrections can be extremely time consuming & costly. ALWAYS take a picture of the product you used just in case you do need some professional help & your stylist knows what they are working with.

✂️ I know this can be very confusing! This is why I’ve gone to school & why I’m constantly staying up with continuing education.
If you choose to save yourself the trouble & headache, contact me! I always offer free consultations if you’re interested:)

✂️✂️✂️ Hope this helps!!! ♥️♥️♥️
