Today marks 5 years of having my own storefront… and later this year, 10 years in business.
It might not seem like a big deal to some, but if I could go back and visit my 18-year-old self… this is something she never thought she’d accomplish.
This business gave me more than a craft I love—it gave me confidence.
Not in how I look or what I have, but in how I see life. In trusting myself. In knowing there’s truly no limit to what I’m capable of.
It taught me that failure isn’t something to fear… it’s part of the process.
You go for it, you learn, and that’s what matters.
Over the years, this has opened doors I never even knew existed.
Opportunities I wouldn’t have dreamed of. It’s given me the people I’ve met along the way—people who have supported me, inspired me, and become part of my journey.
Building a business from scratch in a state I’m not originally from, without that built-in, in-person support from friends and family… is something I’m honestly still amazed I created.
So it’s more than just 5 years of a storefront and 10 years in business…
It’s 10 years of finding myself. Not just what I love to do—but who I am, and who I will become.
And for that, I’ll always be grateful. 🤍🤍🤍
