Detox Hair – Remove all the residue in your hair caused from the city smoke, traffic fumes and pollution. When used regularly in your natural hair care routine, apple cider vinegar will revitalize your hair, leaving it soft, shiny and smooth. Make up an apple cider vinegar hair rinse by mixing one part apple cider vinegar with one part water. After shampooing, pour the mixture onto your hair. If you have a spray bottle, that works even better. That way you can spritz your hair with the mixture and massage it into your scalp. Let the apple cider vinegar mixture sit for a few minutes before rinsing fully with water. No need to use conditioner.

A little something for valentines day Rosewater Recipe

2 handfuls of dried or fresh rose buds and rose petals

4 cups of water

A few bottles or a large jar

Pour the water into a medium-sized saucepan. Throw in the rose buds and rose petals and bring to a boil. Turn the heat down to medium-low and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes. Strain the liquid into the jar or bottles and place into the refrigerator to cool. You can add a few extra rose petals into the liquid if you wish for extra rose scent. However, the rose scent is absolutely wonderful after simmering. You can store the rosewater in the refrigerator to keep it cool. Be sure to label the bottles or jar.

3 Ways to Use Rosewater

1 - Use it as a toner for your skin. However, please use caution when doing this and be sure rosewater is something you can use on your skin.

2 - Add ½ to 1 cup of rosewater into your bath for a soothing, relaxing healing bath.

3 - Pour a small amount into a potpourri pot with a lit tealight candle underneath and allow the aroma to disperse throughout your home.

4 spray into hair and on pillows for a wonderful way to have a natural scent linger on you all day.

One of the best clients i have ever had was a woman working at a big wig office and everyone got at the end of six months a big night out all paid v.i.p .....this lucky lady got a gift certificate for me haircut and style ,facial and makeup as i was working on her she told her story and how happy she was to get her special day but how she did notice it was not a v.i.p. hotspot aka club with a paid tab bunch of friends and a show off moment this struck me in a place i had not felt since grammar school! I also noticed that she did not look in the mirror much and had little request i cancelled two clients after her with a brief phone call and shared one of the most fulfilling moments i've ever had in my career . I cut ,colored and styled her hair i trimmed shaped and buffed her skin and brows I did a light soft natural makeup and i talked and shared about beauty and blunders of such beauty when we were done she was flipped around in my chair and she looked up and wept and i was shaking to keep it together! It was a moment in true beauty the light the breath and the grace of it. We were so excited for her to go back to work with more than a v.i.p. moment but something we both shared and that was lasting. I will never forget her and i hope she will remember me it was a great lesson in what it is to be beautiful!!!!!
