in, my life changed. It took a coma and a second emergency brain surgery that followed before Matt regained consciousness. But, during these almost two weeks of life altering, constantly praying at Matt's bedside having conversations with my Lord, I knew Matt was going to wake up and recover, or he was going home to be with the Lord. Matt come through and made a full remarkable, miraculous 100% recovery! The team of doctors were baffled, they couldn't explain what happened and why. LOL It doesn't end there. Something started happening to me, Post Tramatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I began to have severe chronic migraines, depression and vertigo. Apparently, the trauma was a little much and it caused my blood vessles in my brain to constricted reducing the blood flow. I suffered a whole year, in and out of urgent care seeing several doctors and being given all kinds of medications, IV Pushes before I ended up in the emergency and ultimately admitted in the hospital Christmas Eve. That's when they found out about the "constricted blood vessels" in my brain. I continued to suffer months with constant migraines. I can count 10-15 days of 'not' having a migraine within the last year and eight months. The migraines constant, around the clock-24-7. I was bed-ridden for several months. I've seen several neurologist who loved to say, "There's no cure." "This is how we treat this." "If that prescription doesn't work, we try another." They were happy prescription writting doctors. Before I could blink, I was another helpless person caught up in the viscious endless cycle of presciptions that never helped, only gave me more problems than what I already had. When I was released from the hospital Christmas day, and as I was in the middle of this nightmare, a friend told Matt and I and my mom about going back to basics, getting good nutrition, extracting from fruits, vegetables, whole graines and super foods. I knew this to be true. In Genesis, God talks about the fruit bearing trees with nuts, and this He gave us to eat from. The three of us had many talks, and we prayed many times about what to do, I even did research as best I could being the sick one. I decided to stop thinking about what I should do and start doing it. I refuse to live with severe chronic migraines and be on medications the rest of my life. I refuse to accept what I am being told. I choose to live in better health. I began my first "baby-step" two years ago this October, by stopping diet soda. Last fall, I stopped using sweeteners ("baby-step"2), January 2014 I'm extracting (nutra-blasting) fruits, vegetables and super foods every morning ("baby-step"3), Since then I stopped eating sugar free popcycles ("baby-step"4), and now Juice Plus+. We have seen and felt the benefits! My vision has improved and Matt has been walking and running 2-4 miles every morning (good-bye knee inflamation, our energy levels have increased, fewer migraines and the intensity have decreased, no more cholesterol and no more high blood pressure, compared my resent lab results to my last lab work and the numbers have changed for the better-all great! So, Matt and I are changing our life style, slowly but surely, we are regaining our healthy, reclaiming our life. We're doing our "baby-steps toward nutrition and going back to basics. We have to keep moving forward, there's no going back. It didn't take over night for our bodies to become the way it is today, It took a life time and it's going to take the rest of our lives for us to be as healthy as possible, and we are determined. But, we need to be patient with ourselves. We need to be persistant, discipline, dedicated steadfast. You're going to have to come to that place like we did, where you don't want to go back, enough is enough, it's time to take back control and to feel good again. To feel the best that you can feel. Find your "baby-step" and begin there. And then the next "baby-step", and then the next. And with each "baby-step" you acheive, you begin to have the confidence and the momentum, you build self esteem and excitment. You want more. If God is telling you to get healthy, then get healthy, don't wait for anyone else. God is your strength and He is all about health. He says for us to take care of our body's (temple). Matt and I are here for you, in support, encourage and in prayer. Whenever you are ready. We can do this together. In closing, I want to share a few scriptures that God has placed upon my heart during this time in my life. I am thankful to Him for His endless mercy and faithfulness. He loves me and never leaves me. He carries me during my most difficult times. He is my God forever, and I am His child forever. "I love you Daddy".

2 Corinthians 12:9: "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20: Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, who you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

12:1: Paul said, "I beseech you...that you present your bodies a living sacrifice...". Galatians 5:22-23: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Genesis 1:29: And God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.

1 Corinthians 10:31: So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Matthew 11: 27-30 “Come to me all of you who are tired from the heavy burden you have been forced to carry. I will give you rest. 29 Accept my teaching.[d] Learn from me. I am gentle and humble in spirit. And you will be able to get some rest. 30 Yes, the teaching that I ask you to accept is easy. The load I give you to carry is light.”
