When I was a flooring contractor, if I walked through a door or gate on a job that was sticking, catching or squeaking, I'd fix it.

I usually had my tools on me, and I knew it would only take a few minutes.

I just couldn't help noticing things that weren't working quite right.
I still do that.
Just with a different set of tools.
When I'm working on someone and I find something that isn't moving quite right, feels restricted, or just needs a little attention, I'll often spend a couple of extra minutes working on it.

Not because it's on a checklist.
Not because I'm trying to add something to the treatment.
Because I noticed it, and I believe I can make it better.

Today, it was the treatment room door.
It was catching, so I moved the strike plate a little.
A small adjustment, and the door works properly again.
Different tools. Same instinct.
That's my craftsman's approach to bodywork.

And if you're a new client, I'm currently adding an extra 15 minutes to your first massage at no additional charge.
Sometimes a little extra time is all you need.

Ever wondered what the difference is between Swedish and Thai massage?

They’re quite different approaches — but they don’t have to be completely separate.

With my Swedish/Thai massage, I can seamlessly blend the two during your session, combining the flowing, relaxing feel of Swedish massage with Thai compression, stretching and mobilisation.

You can choose:
• Swedish — draped, with oil/lotion (best for neck and back, relaxation)
• Thai — fully clothed with lots of stretching (best for legs/hips/lower back)
• Swedish/Thai — draped, with the best of both

My default when massaging is silence.

I want to give you the space to switch off, quiet your mind and drift into that wonderfully relaxed, meditative state.

That slightly “massage drunk” feeling afterwards? That's a result of that deeply relaxed state. It's difficult to reach that state while also talking.

But if you need to talk, talk.

Sometimes you just need to get things off your chest. I've been told I'm a good listener.

It's a safe space, and what you say stays in the room.

There's no right or wrong way to spend your massage. Some days you might need conversation. Other days you might need silence.
