Hey guys, I’m kind of over the whole social media thing and the amount of time I spend doom scrolling for absolutely no reason. I’m not deactivating my account because I have so many photos and memories, but I am deleting all the social media apps off my phone. I will still have Messenger for anyone that needs to get ahold of me, you can also alway reach me at the shop phone 501.864.4122. I just need a break because social media has become the furthest thing from social.

Hey guys, the holidays are around the corner meaning it’s about to be in the busiest time of the year at the shop, with that being said it is also the time of the year that I take off the most to be with my family. Here is a list of the days I will be off for the rest of the year so that you all can schedule accordingly. Thank you for your understanding.

Amidst all the chaos and significant changes happening in the US, I want to emphasize one thing: my chair will always be a safe space for everyone who enters our shop. It’s a place where you can be yourself, regardless of your gender, age, race, sexual orientation, immigration status, or anything else. Whether you want to chat, laugh, cry, or just sit quietly, my chair is here for you as we face the next four years and their impact on marginalized communities. I stand as an ally and oppose all the injustices happening in America right now. I love you all and appreciate your continued support.

Cut around a foot of hair off my brother, styled with Control Cream.

Control Cream is the perfect for anyone trying to pull out their natural texture or curls with a natural hold and no shine. It also control the frizz that most people get while blow drying their hair.

It’s also the perfect I don’t need any product in my hair kind of product.

Starting November 1st 2024, services will be increasing by $5.

I can go into the nitty gritty on cost of supplies, rent, insurances etc, but most people don’t care to hair about the details. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up far enough in advance so that everyone would be aware of changes.

I greatly appreciate the support from my clients and community over the last 5 years and look forward to your continued support.

Important Notice
I will be implementing some changes for the 2024 year and wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Effective 1/1/24,I will no longer be accepting payments through CashApp, Venmo, Apple Pay, etc. I know that a lot of clients have enjoyed the convenience of not having to carry cash, but these money transfer services have made it harder and harder year after year to continue to use these services.

Effective 12/1/23, I will be accepting card payments for services (not products) in the barbershop. Going forward, cash rate will be the prices listed in the shop, but card payments will have a $2 convenience fee that will be paid for by the client at the time of the service. Remember, the ability to pay card is a convenience for the client and not for myself. Don’t like the processing fee? You can always pay cash.

Also, Effective 1/1/24, I will be charging clients for no shows. I’ve always tried being lenient with no shows, but over the course of this year, I have missed out on around $3,600 in no show fees. Being a barber, I still pay for my space in the shop regardless of if I have clients in the chair. If you can’t make the appointment, just give me a call or reschedule from the app to avoid charges. I will give you up until the hour of the appointment time to cancel without a fee, which I believe is still very generous.

Thank you for your continued support over the years and excited for what next year brings.

Thank you
Chase Turner

First and foremost my family and I would like to say thank you to everyone that has helped out in anyway during my recovery. The way that the guys along with clients helped us during this difficult time has been extremely overwhelming. Thank you doesn’t even put into words what it means.

Although I am still in my stages of recovery a majority of my superficial wounds have healed. Starting November 1st I will be returning back to work but on a somewhat limited schedule as not to overexert my body. To be completely honest and transparent I do not know how long I will be back before having to take some additional time off. I’m currently going back and forth with insurance to get my MRI approved. Doctors and I are worried that I may have torn muscles in my shoulder and back due to the impact of the wreck. Once we have more information it is very possible that I will have to take additional time off due to therapy and possibly surgery.

I appreciate everyone’s patience as I navigate returning to work while continuing to nurse my wounds. I know the holidays are around the corner and I want to be here for you all as much as you all were for my family and

At this time I would like for everyone to stop donating, as much as they are appreciated and have helped keep my family stable while off recovery, with me returning to work they are no longer need.

There may be more difficult times ahead but it keeps me positive to see the amount of people we have in our corner. Thank you all again and I cannot wait to see you all.

Trigger warning-Graphic Pictures

So I’m sure most of you have heard by now, buy on Tuesday I was in a serious car accident. My car flipped 4 times and I was ejected from the sunroof of my Kia soul. The car rolled one more time over my body. Thankfully after multiple CT scans and X-rays I had not internal bleeding or broken bones. Here in several weeks I will be getting MRI’s on my back and shoulders to see what the full effect of my injuries are.

As a barber the only way that I provide for my family is when I am behind the chair. Although my wife works as a teacher I am the sole provider for the house hold. I hate asking for handouts because I’m a busy body that would rather be working. Unfortunately I am unable to do that for the next several upcoming weeks while I heal both physically and mentally from the whole ordeal.

I have provided both my cashapp and venmo, as well as a donation box at the barbershop for cash. I appreciate anything and everything that will help me make it through the rough times.

I love you all and can’t wait to be back behind my chair cutting hair and cutting up with all of you.
