Pilates Teachers need teachers, too. 🤍

We become Pilates teachers because we see how it helps our bodies and it creates a passion to share the Method with others. But oftentimes, once we become teachers, it becomes difficult to make our own practice a priority in between clients. Nichole has made it a point to always do one private lesson a week with a teacher she respects. Sometimes there’s nothing better than turning off our teacher brain and just being the client.

At Pilates Unites, we believe there’s always more to learn, refine, and experience. No matter how long you’ve been teaching.

Whether you’re a seasoned teacher or continuing to grow your practice, come train with us, learn with us, and be part of our community.

Thanks to Rachel Rachel Romdhane for teaching Nichole. If anyone is looking for authentic Pilates, you can’t find a better teacher than Rachel. She is awesome!

Tabletop isn’t always one size fits all!!

- If they’re arching or gripping in the hip flexors, try a lazy tabletop first. Build strength first, then increase the challenge.

-Knees together isn’t just for aesthetics.
Cue the inner thighs to support the legs and help connect into the lower abdominals.

The best modification is the one that sets your client up for success.

Neck pain during Pilates isn’t something you should just push through. Learning how to properly lift your head can completely change your abdominal work, helping you move with more strength, control, and less tension.

- Find neutral before you lift.

- Let your core support the movement.

- Don’t be afraid to reset and try again.

Save this for your next Pilates class🩵

FYI - we fall under the contemporary category. We are more than reformer classes and cute outfits. Learn the Method- change your life.

One cue. A completely different exercise. This simple visualization has transformed the way I teach/do the Pull Ups, helping clients find length, balance, and control instead of tension. Save this one for your next session!

Thank you for the game changing cue
