What we do as hairstylists is special. We impact other people with their view of themselves. If we are good enough we build relationships and bonds with each other. A trust is shared when an image is created.
Working with .for.kids over the years has taught me just this. For about 7 years I have fit this young lady into her new annual wig. This was her last one because she has now aged out. She will never be able to grow her own hair but Im so proud to have been able to fit this beautiful piece for her one last time from wigs for kids.

Summer gets away from us while we are having fun. Now is a great time to freshen up that color and balance out the ends.

I experienced a head spa treatment a few weeks ago from Soul Oasis. It was AMAZING!

I was fortunate to visit this location this year and remember this impactful day in our history.

Today clients and myself have been sharing stories about where we were when the catastrophe happened. Remembering is good for us all.

I was getting ready to catch a flight home from a Florida trip. I saw the news in a restaurant eating breakfast before heading to the airport. My plans suddenly changed.

No one said you have to sit in an office or salon to get your work done. I work long hours and much of my behind the scenes time is spent on a phone. Today’s amazing resources allows work from home days to be flexible and fun and my boss is ok with that. She’s the best!!!😉
