IMPORTANT CLIENT UPDATE — CONTRACTS

I recently noticed I was getting A LOT of emails saying forms had been sent, so I assumed everyone’s contracts were being completed as they should be.Well… I finally figured out what was happening! My system was sending the “What to Expect” form first and, in some cases, repeatedly sending that form instead of moving on to the actual service contract. And even if you signed it, it just kept resending it to you. Thankfully, I have since fixed the issue! However, because of this, I can now see that there are still some clients who do not have a signed contract on file.

Please pay attention to your automated appointment reminder texts. If your reminder says that you have a form that needs to be reviewed or signed, please follow the link and complete it. It literally takes 1-2 mins to scroll to the bottom, type your name, and then hit submit. A copy of the contract is then emailed to you. I’ve attached a simple step-by-step graphic below showing you exactly how to do it! If you already have a signed contract on file, you do NOT need to sign another one.

I apologize for the confusion and especially to anyone who received the “What to Expect” form multiple times. Technology is wonderful… until it isn’t!

📢 Scheduling Update for Perfect Paws By Heather The RVT

As summer comes to an end and my kids head back to school, our family's schedule is changing. With both of my children now attending different schools and having different drop-off and pick-up times, I need to be home in the afternoons to get my son off the bus.

Because of this, my new business hours will be Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM and well need to be strict about this.

To help accommodate clients who truly cannot make appointments during those hours, I do plan to offer one or two extended business days each month with later appointment times. However, please understand that these appointments will be extremely limited and may not align with your normal 4-, 6-, or 8-week recurring schedule. These appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed so book in advance if this is you!

I have already spent much of today reaching out to many of you regarding schedule adjustments. If I have not personally contacted you, your currently scheduled appointments will remain exactly as they are. The only appointments changing are the ones I have already discussed, otherwise your other appts remain the same.

If you have any questions or are unsure about your upcoming appointments, please don't hesitate to reach out! I'm happy to send you a screenshot of your scheduled appointments. You can also view all of your upcoming appointments anytime through the Square Go app.

Important Service Area Update:

To our Akron and surrounding area clients,

I wanted to let everyone know about an upcoming change at Perfect Paws By Heather The RVT.

Due to personal reasons, Crystal has decided to leave our team. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has done and wish her nothing but the very best in her next chapter.

Unfortunately, because of this change, we will no longer be providing services in the Akron and surrounding areas. At this time, we are not planning to hire another team member to cover that region.

Our Lake County service areas will continue to operate as normal with no changes. I will continue providing the same in-home care you've come to expect throughout those areas.

To our Akron families—thank you for trusting us with your beloved pets. It has truly been an honor to care for them, and I sincerely appreciate your support over the past year. Wishing you and your furry family members nothing but the best.

I will never intentionally no-show an appointment.

If you are expecting me (or a member of my team) and have not heard from us, please, please, please reach out! We've had two appointments this week mysteriously disappear from our schedule, and we're trying to figure out what happened.

I'm not sure if it was related to a system update, a scheduling glitch, or something else, but I never want anyone sitting at home wondering where we are.

If you have an appointment scheduled and don't receive your normal text reminders, confirmations, or if anything seems off, don't hesitate to call or text. I'd much rather double-check than have anyone miss the care their pets need.
