Let’s get into it then…

First, it is important to know the difference between skin TYPE & skin CONDITION. Your skin type is what you’re genetically born with VS skin Condition which can be treated or minimized.

There are 4 skin types…
🌜Oily- is characterized by excess sebum(oil) production. It is prone to blemishes because pores get clogged with oil and a buildup of dead skin cells.
🌜Dry- doesn’t produce enough oil. The follicles are usually small and the sebum is minimal.
🌜Combination- can be both oily and dry, or both oily and normal at the same time. The T-zone which is through the middle of the face on the forehead, nose, and chin.. is oiler.
🌜Normal- has good oil-water balance. Sometimes can fluctuate and sometimes will be a little oiler.

Examples of skin CONDITIONS are:
🌜dehydration, sensitive, adult acne, hyperpigmentation, & aging.

My favorite skin care regimen is my night time one because I have more time🙃 and washing away the stresses of the day is relaxing💕

1.🌜Double cleanse
Gorgeous gorgeous girls always double cleanse!!💕
🌜So start with your favorite precleanser- A pre cleanse is a deep cleansing oil that melts away impurities and makeup from skin. Preparing your skin for your targeted cleanser.

1b. 🌜Cleanse
Use your favorite facial cleanser that fits your skin type and targets your skin concerns.

2. 🌜Exfoliate
Exfoliating is the process of removing the first layer of dead skin cells which improves the skin appearance. Only exfoliate when necessary!! At least 1x weekly. For my oily babes I recommend 2x weekly💕

3. 🌜Tone
Follow up with your favorite toner. Toning refreshes and hydrates the skin while leaving the surface of the skin very smooth 💕 toning also prepares the skin for proper moisture balance.

4/5.🌜Dermal layering
Dermal layering consists of first a serum then a targeted moisturizer.
Examples of serums are hyaluronic acid, niacinamide(check previous post), or a low percentage retinol.
