Fall hair is my favorite season!! Here's some autumn inspired colors I've done recently. I love when blondes tone into "bronde", when reds and coppers show up in full force and when back to school bangs are a big deal. Happy October! Ps drive by my Halloween house it was on the news! I did Zoe's first haircut about a decade ago! Her & her mom have driven from Boston & Grafton & followed me to each salon I've been at. I had the pleasure of giving her a new cut and color the other day & she had the best reaction ever! Happy faces walking out of my chair smiling are the reason I'm so passionate about what I do! Thanks guys it was so fun seeing you both 😘

Today's biggest transformation was this 4 hour color correction! She previously had blue, but then covered it with all over black since last time I've seen her. Her inspo pic (3rd pic) was a light ginger red. First I did a billion foils with lightener, then a fresh trim, then it took a few different reds & toners, but we finally achieved a beautiful end result & she loves it. Phew! Today was super busy with back to back clients & I'm so happy I could get this done for her!

Everyone asks me why I don't make a tiktok for the salon, or film my consults or color services & I'm gonna be real with you, it's because I don't want to lol. I'm not a technology girlie. I've literally been running the salon from a hello kitty notebook for an entire decade. I don't own a computer, I'm awkward on camera, I'm too busy foiling with lightener all over my hands to be pushing buttons. I chose this career so I'd never need to send an email or know how to do that kind of stuff. I don't want our personal conversations that I value so much to be recorded. No hate on any of the stylists who use & love tiktok, it's just not my thing, I don't have time & I'm lucky to have already established a clientele pre internet. I remember handing out business cards at emerald square mall offering free haircuts in the early 2000s before I even had a cellphone lol 👵🏼 I don't want to use a booking app or a keep a credit card on file. My clients are the ones who taught me how to take payments on venmo & set up my square tap thingamabob. Best I can do is a batch of android cell phone pics or two second videos a couple times a month. I just want you to call or message me, come sit in my chair, & let me paint your head while we commiserate about life & l make you look even cuter than you already do with fresh new color. I never wanted to be a content creator, photographer, comedian, accountant, receptionist, or influencer....I only wanted to do hair. I still love doing hair so much even after 22yrs & I'm so thankful for the most amazing loyal clients who don't judge me for not having a website, or going viral, or knowing trendy dances etc. ❤️ Ps: don't even get me started on AI 😡 if you tell me that "chat thinks I should do this color formula", I'm just gonna tell you to ask the robots to do your hair from now on 💁🏼‍♀️🤖

My little baby Zellie is all grown up!! Happy 21st to my amazing daughter!!! You're probably thinking "omg this can't be the same little girl who was always at the salon", but in the blink of an eye, she's an adult!! She's my pride & joy & I'm so lucky to have such a smart, sweet, beautiful kid. Happy birthday Zel!

This little girl had no idea she would someday own a successful salon!! I'm so proud that my salon has been going strong for 10 years now! 5 years in Pawtucket & 5 years in North Providence & still busy as ever! Maybe the fact that my bangs were always cut so terribly helped inspire me to become a hairstylist lol. Little me would not believe the life I have now as an adult. She'd be like "Wow you live in a house? Omg you own a car? Omg you have food in the fridge?! Whoa". Cheers to ten years!!!!

I haven't posted in forever because I've been so sad about the loss of Gypsy, but I have an enormous amount of rad hair colors to catch up on showing you. This one was a blast to do! It's fun to be at the point in my career where styles from years ago resurface. We used to call this the "raccoon tail" when I was a kid and Im psyched that it's back!

The salon won't be the same without my sweet Gypsy girl 💔She was the best dog & she loved greeting all the clients & hanging out with everyone. She was with Zellie & I for 15yrs and 4 salons. My heart is broken. She saw Zels whole childhood, every milestone she's been right there. She's met most of your dogs & your kids, she's probably tried to eat a snack out of your hand, & you all said how cute it was when she'd follow me to the back to watch me mix color. She will be missed so much. Thank you all for being so patient with me having to reschedule. Sorry in advance if I randomly burst into tears during your next haircut. RIP Gypsy Lee West 😥🐾
