So simple to correct but can be devastatingly painful if you don't (especially over time). I can't recommend this enough. "lift the phone, don't drop your head!"

Throughout the night your spine discs are adding fluid (so you are taller in the am). When you first get up, your back is more vulnerable to injury due to the increased fluid so you may want to hold off on any strenuous activity with the back. do some light stretches and get the body prepared for the day.

For me, my patients fall into two camps: 1. Patients looking for a fix it in one session. Which is fine. Or 2. Patients who accept if they are going to get better, it is up to them and I can guide them on their journey.
My patients in camp 2 tend to do better.
