What does this mean for the salon??

Although this is so exciting, we’re not quite ready here to return things to pre-Covid times in the salon. We gleefully took up the ugly tape that marked 6’ on on our floors, and our state mandated Covid signage has been taken down... but the use of masks, by both staff and clients, must still be worn. We are oh-so close to you peeps when we work and kiddos under 12 are still not vaccinated. (... I’ve got one of those at home I’ve gotta think about)

Sooo... since things are moving in the right direction, we’ve brought back facial waxing to our menu.. now that maskless-ness is kinda here, but you’ve gotta be fully vaccinated.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOUUU for all being so patient and crazy compliant!! Your patience and compliancy has kept us safe, healthy ... and in business this past year : )

**Public Service Announcement**

Many are asking what they can expect in the salon now that state restrictions are lifting ... which is frankly exhilarating(!) exhausting and yet another thing to navigate as a small business ... but alas ... here we are... with staff fully vaccinated + 90% of our clientele vaccinated (yessss.... we are fans of vaccinations) today MAY 1st brings back double-booking, blow-drying, an unlocked front door and a semi-open reception area : ) Masks are still mandatory and ... who knows when that will change ... remember, we work in a way that can never allow for social distancing and geez! it’s been our healthiest year ... maybe we keep them 4ever ... so what stays ... restricted operating schedules, restricted capacity limits, emailing us about appointments vs calling, vigilant pre-booking health questions, contact tracing, contactless payment and overall patience + kindness : )

Seriously one of the most amazing things about this past year (as a stylist) ; supporting clients while they discover they might not need to cover/hide what they already have : ) Which allows for more creative haircuts! And more freedom! Playing with texture, shape and tones... encouraging one to discover a new part of themselves... we ❤️ this. What a fun transformative process.

Public Service Announcement 🚨... remote learning for kiddos has us working parents juggling a little more than our usual schedules. Until we get the swing of this, Christi won’t be seeing clients on Friday’s. Which means!! Her Sat & Sun schedule is filling up... fast. And don’t forget, Darien’s holding down the fort for all your weekday needs: ) 2020 has us all adjusting in ways like never before.. stay sane everyone 🧡

Autumn hair 🧡 ... changing seasons, signal things like changing your wardrobe, but don’t forget, hair color palettes can adjust too: ) Warmer tones are preferred over cooler ones. A simple color glossing can do the trick! ... Darien adjusted Ange’s by adding deeper/richer tones, transitioning her from Summer to Fall : )

So beautiful & sweet, from a client, literally still warm from the oven 🧡 How can we not take a moment to thank all of our amazing clients ... their support + time + dedication, it’s pretty overwhelming. If it wasn’t for clients, we’d just be people with scissors & combs ... Thank you everyone : ) xo
