Lifeless, fly-away, "stat-icky" hair? It's that time of year...the dry heat is stealing the moisture out of your hair which in turn causes this static. Here's what to do:
1. Use a gentle shampoo. Focus on the scalp, not the ends.
2. Shampoo less often. You can wet and style your hair everyday, just don't use shampoo. In the shower, massage your scalp as if you had shampoo on it. The massaging loosens natural oil and rinsing carries the oil through the hair shaft, leaving some moisture on it. This is GOOD thing!
3. Use a leave-in conditioner or hair oil. Very little is needed. You will be pleasantly static free!
