Today we’re shining the spotlight on Roxanne aka Roxanne Wintz. 🧡 Andreas loves to tell everyone how our salon has attracted top-tier talent from near and far and he loves nothing more than sharing the story of the adventurous Roxanne who left her Alaska home (by car) to come here and work with us in Chicago! Hers was a brave and bold move that seems to have been a good one, as she has built a beautiful, bustling book with amazing clientele in Vernon Hills where she has now been working since 2021. Roxanne is a curly hair specialist and she loves color—especially reds and vivids—and styling. When it comes to cutting, she is known for shag/wolf cuts and razor cutting. Before joining us, Roxanne worked as a Matrix color educator for 5 years and also worked New York fashion week for three years. One of her highest honors was being nominated for NAHA (the North America Hair Awards) which continues to be the Mount Everest for hairstylists and artists in our industry. Roxanne’s beautiful work has been published in several magazines and we’re including a few of those shots in this carousel. When Roxanne isn’t in the salon, you can trust she’s out adventuring. ✌️She loves Renaissance faires, concerts, and festivals; she enjoys cosplay, sewing, crafting, playing board games, antiquing, thrifting, and kayaking. Do you know Cynthia? If you’ve ever stepped foot in our Northbrook salon, chances are you’ve met her or watched her working. Cynthia has been with us since day 1 and she’s been growing as a stylist with us since 2007 (yep: 19 years and counting! 😮). Cynthia is a highly skilled stylist, colorist and makeup artist. She loves cutting both short and long hair and she loves creating beautiful lived-in colors. Fun facts about Cynthia:

🧡In addition to working with us, she worked for many years as a bilingual educator for the hair product company Matrix where she taught classes to other stylists.

🧡She is one the “most mentioned” names on next door and Facebook group pages when people are asking for local hairstylist recommendations.

🧡She is the mom of two sweet little girls who keep her running when she’s not at the salon.

🧡She is always the first person to donate to our annual coat drive and one year she single-handedly filled the entire box herself.

So, in addition to being an uber talented hairstylist, Cynthia is a really great person with a zest for life and a love for her family.

If you’d like to sit in Cynthia’s chair, you will find her four days a week in Northbrook—Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

She is always excited about meeting new people and she’d love help you with your hair.

Say hi to Nicole! 👋 Nicole is one of three new Emerging Artists now behind-the-chair in our Northbrook salon. Nicole graduated from our Associates Program last spring and has been taking clients for two months now. She’s doing BEAUTIFUL work! Primarily focused on blondes, Nicole loves highlighting and creating dimensional color. She’s also great with all-over color, single-process (root touch ups) and long haircuts.
