Seven years may not feel like a huge milestone to some, but this past year was everything for me. It was the year I pushed through when I was ready to close shop more times than I can count, not because I stopped loving what I do or business slowed down but because running a business is hard.

I swear to you, every single time one of those thoughts crept in, God always reminded me of my why.

I do this for my family and to make a positive impact on women. I show up every day to show my children what perseverance looks like. I want to show them that you can work hard to create a life that fits your family.

Some may see lashes and skincare but this business has always been about so much more. My services are about how my clients feel when they leave. They seen, cared for, loved. My place is about having a safe space, whether that’s to share life, make hard decisions, or simply enjoy a quiet, relaxing moment.

This past year, God showed up for me in the smallest but most meaningful ways. A client saying, “I really needed this, thank you.” , being able to make it to my kids’ games and not have to worry about if I had enough PTO to leave early, having clients who understand when life happens and who know I will always go above and beyond for them in return.

As I type this with my daughter on my lap and my youngest trying to climb on me, my heart is full.

Basically after only 7 years in…the most I learned throughout this last year? Growth is uncomfortable. Doubt is loud & every obstacle feels personal. I decided to take every roadblock as a stepping stone. Every hard season shaped me into a better business owner, a better woman, and a better mom.

I am ready to take on year 7 with lots of prayer and show up as the business woman/service provider that Jesus has intended me to be.
