I’m gonna be honest and say I was dreading this week at work, because I have my own personal things going on. I prayed before I started day for God to make today fulfilling in my calling and not draining. To remind me of why I am here and not get bogged down in my own anxiety and grief because these people matter, and He trusted their stories with me. Wow did he deliver.
She lost all her hair, and it has come back wire textured and sticks straight up. She lost her identity, and fell down into a depression hole.
Though she has requested to stay anonymous, her story isn’t lost on me. She cried when we were done and said “God sent me to you, and I’m so thankful for the magic he gave you.”
If that wasn’t confirmation God heard my prayer, and delivered, I don’t know what is. Thank you Jesus for the calling in my life, and forever showing me you are near.
We colored, did a keratin smoothing treatment, and a full hybrid set of extensions.

On July 4,2015 I had an idea.
An idea that brides could have ONE person come TO THEM and take care of all of their beauty needs so they could enjoy every SINGLE moment of their wedding day. No more going to the salon, then the makeup counter at a dept store while rushing to get to the venue.
I talked some people into putting on their dresses to let me do hair and makeup and have their photos taken free of charge.
That decision catapulted my career into something more fulfilling than I can describe. I’ve been able to be apart of some people’s biggest days. Carried on into their baby shower h/mu, maternity photo h/mu, and family photo h/mu.
I’ve done girls hair who were freshmen in college that started as just highlights, then gone to other countries to do hair and makeup for them to be a bride.
I am forever thankful for big ideas that God laid on my heart, and an amazing team of people who said “I’m in!”
Every bride, pageant girl, model, pregnant mama, and completely average woman who just wanted to feel good about herself, THANK YOU!
Thank you for trusting me with your biggest days, and making my life calling something I love waking up and getting to do!🥹
Hair and makeup style has definitely changed over the years, but I hope everyone I’ve touched with a teasing comb and makeup brush still looks back and loves it.

Ok hear me out, I need your opinion!
Picture 1 is current. I’ve had (almost) black hair for YEARS!! Picture 2 is an itch I have. Should I lighten or stay dark?! HELP!

She wanted a soft glam that wasn’t overpowering. It all started with good skin prep to camouflage any texture.
Loved the way it turned out. Soft but still packs a punch!

She went from on scalp bleach with vivids, to on scalp platinum, to now wanting to be a bright and dimensional blonde. It takes time and a lab, but doable. And I do love a challenge! Swiped to see where we ended up!
