Both hair colors were beautiful, both done by me. First she wanted the blonde on blonde look for some fun in the sun!!!When coming back to the cold and winter months, we talked about what we could do and she wanted to try a look with more depth, and the color/ lowlight came out beautiful! Today’s color correction!! Client came in with at least 3 inches of growth from her last hair color, and she felt as though she was getting to light but did not want to loose the dimension in her hair color. With adding only a few high lights to the top, deepening the root color and the low light formula, I was able to use the pre exsisting highlights to create a balayage effect. At the end added a toner, shaped her hair with a slight hair cut and styled her with some big brush curls. Client was extremely pleased! Another amazing day in the world of hair! Today I had a new client, saw my pictures online and loved what she saw. She had been highlighted 2 years ago and wanted a half head but didn’t want to be too blonde. The end picture her hair was still alittle wet because we were running out of time, but desired results achieved, natural looking highlights! follow

Half head highlights on natural red hair. Client needed her highlights touched up and wanted to to be blonde without double process to achieve a more natural look. Desired look accomplished, another happy client!

This first time client felt she was getting to blonde on her ends and there was took much separation with her root color. The top pictures are the befores. When we were done coloring, highlighting and low lighting, and then a toner.... her hair blended much better. She loved the depth, and the subtleness of he highlights. My good friend and client Joanne need color and a trim...... a big one! I wish I had a before color but I took this in the process (not good at remembering to do that, I’m working on it!). The results were amazing though...... Joanne’s natural hair color is a darker brown, but she is salt and pepper through out most of her hair. The icy blonde look suites her!! She loved it!! Client today had an over grown Balayage and faded color. Client brought her own colors and asked to be vibrant with only and inch or 2 of root showing. Unfortunately I could not finish the styling part of her hair but she sent me a finished color, look was achieved and a success! Hair by Cait

What I did at work today.... lol. Project for next years students. Just goes to show you, Cosmetology is not just about hair..... we have to learn the human anatomy.... biology..... mathematics, and so much more!
