It’s so important to me that my dimensional colors still look soft and blended when worn straight 🤎
I know I post a lot of curled hair (because let’s be honest, curls show off dimension ✨) but I wanted to share this one because I think it’s a really good example of what one of my lived-in colors looks like in real life, worn straight.
I normally don’t post many photos taken inside my salon suite unless I’m standing directly in front of natural lighting because I can get super picky about photos/lighting 😅 but this color was too good not to share.
We kept everything super soft and low maintenance with extra softness around her root area, face frame, and hairline so the grow out stays seamless and blended over time ☁️ Then when she does decide to curl it, all that hidden dimension and those ribbon pieces pop even more ✨
Swipe to see the glaze/formula breakdown because I think the glaze is really what pulled everything together and gave it that soft neutral finish 🤍
So excited for these 🫣
One thing about me is I’ll spend hours trying to make everything match the vibe 😂 but I’m obsessed with these and I feel like they’re going to tie the whole space together so well

One of my biggest things with hair is:
“Don’t fix what’s not broken.” 👏🏼
This foilwork has
No toner.
No root tap.
Just a clean, soft blonde achieved through strategic placement and lifting beautifully on its own ✨
Toners and root melts are absolutely necessary a lot of the time. But in some cases, less is more. I actually pulled her foils fully intending to root melt her, but the blend was already so seamless that I decided to leave it alone.
Not every blonde needs to be toned down, shadowed, cooled off, or overworked. Sometimes the hair lifts exactly how you want it to and it’s better to preserve that softness and brightness rather than keep adding to it.
This obviously isn’t the case for everyone, but healthy hair, proper formulation, and intentional placement make such a difference 🤍

Chocolate brown refresh 🤎
Fun fact: the first time she came to me was to fix her DIY bangs phase 😅✂️
Safe to say… we’ve come a long way.
We deepened her color into a rich, dimensional brunette and added soft layers to bring the movement back—nothing heavy, just effortless and healthy.
Styled with my brushes + rollers from at the end (I’ve been loving the volume they give 🤍)

Golden, sun-kissed blonde ☀️✨
because not everything has to be icy to be bright
We kept this soft + dimensional with warm golden tones to add shine, depth, and that natural “lit from within” look 🤍
Think:
• creamy ribbons of blonde
• soft blended root
• low-maintenance grow out
Warm tones like this reflect light SO beautifully and actually make the hair look healthier + shinier 🙌🏼
If you’ve been scared of warmth… this is your sign to try it the right way 💫

If your hair feels dry, frizzy, or just off lately… even though you’re using all the “right” products, this might be why 🤍
There are actually two different things that can cause this, and they feel the same. The first is hygral fatigue — when your hair gets too much moisture, too often (over-washing, constantly re-wetting, over-conditioning). Every time your hair gets wet it swells, then contracts as it dries. Over time, that constant expansion weakens the hair — like a rubber band that’s been stretched too many times. It loses elasticity, shine, and strength… and starts feeling dry and frizzy even though it’s overloaded with moisture.
But here’s where it gets confusing… you can also have the opposite problem: product buildup. If you’re layering heavy conditioners, masks, oils, and leave-ins without properly cleansing, they start to coat the hair. So now moisture can’t actually get in. Your hair feels dry, but it’s not because you need more — it’s because nothing is absorbing.
So your hair can either be:
• overloaded with moisture but not holding it properly (hygral fatigue)
• or blocked from absorbing moisture at all (buildup)
Other things that play a role: high porosity hair (especially with highlights), overusing deep conditioners, heat/chemical damage, over-washing (stripping natural oils), and pH imbalance (cuticle not fully closing).
What helps isn’t doing more — it’s creating balance. Don’t overwash, use a clarifying shampoo when needed, be mindful with heavy masks, add protein if your hair feels weak/stretchy, and focus on both hydration (water) and moisture (sealing it in).
Healthy hair isn’t about using everything… it’s about using what your hair actually needs 🤍
