My FIRST Microloc client when I stepped back into hair full-time in 2022 with nothing but faith, talent, and a salon suite dream.

Since day one, she’s followed me through EVERY chapter… every location, every upgrade, every late night, every level up of Locs & Color Studio.

Y’all… this client literally walked into my salon by accident. 😭 He was on the way to the barbershop ready to make the worst decision of his life.

I’m Berea .. aka Frenchy.. owner of BDAJA | Locs & Color Studio. I am a certified Master Loctician, licensed, cosmetologist ,educator, mentor, and somebody who has truly dedicated years of her life to mastering this craft.

For over 13 years I’ve stayed committed to growing, learning, rebuilding, sacrificing, and showing up even in seasons where nobody clapped for me yet.

And now… I’m finally beginning to see the fruits of all the labor, discipline, prayer, and consistency I’ve poured into this journey.

Being chosen to step into Master Training with the School of Locs was more than education for me — it was confirmation.

Confirmation that everything I prayed for is unfolding exactly when God sees fit.

I don’t take any of this lightly.
Not the clients.
Not the growth.
Not the support.
Not the calling on my hands.

I’m currently in Atlanta being mentored and trained through The School of Locs and tonight I came back to my hotel and realized we officially crossed 2,000 followers 😭 🫶🏽

And honestly… I’m just grateful.

Grateful that after 14 years in this industry, people still choose to support me, trust my work, learn from me, and grow with me. This journey has been filled with so many lessons, sacrifices, blessings, elevation, and growth ..not just as a hairstylist but as a woman and business owner too.

This trip has really been opening my eyes to a whole different level of awareness, precision, and mastery. I’m learning so much right now and I genuinely cannot WAIT to bring all this knowledge back home to Locs & Color Studio 🔥
