One way I like to give back is by donating gift baskets for raffles, silent auctions, etc. This one is going to Can Do Cancer, a local organization that helps adults patients going through chemotherapy. I hope this basket brings someone joy, and helps raise money towards a great organization 🤍

I have some elderberry syrup on hand for pickup starting tomorrow! 8oz $10, 16oz $18. As always, made from local elderberries and locally sourced honey 🍯 Great immune system booster or to help get over a bug you might’ve picked up already!

I’m thinking ahead and thinking of those early holiday shoppers - would anyone be interested in some holiday themed luffa soaps at the Sourdough Shack? I did holiday scented soaps, bath salts, and body scrubs last year - they make a great gift basket as well! Now that it’s cooling off I could also put some magnesium cream/lotion out. 😊

🌾Have you tried our fresh milled sourdough loaves yet?🌾

When I started my sourdough journey it was for personal health reasons, and I did a lot of research on different flours, fermentation processes, and the best way to make a wholesome healthy sourdough loaf. Did you know most store bought flour is stripped of its natural nutrients? When milled directly from the wheat berries, the flour maintains all of the health benefits and nutrients that it’s intended to have. Bleached and enriched flour from the store has all of those nutrients taken out, and synthetic versions added that a lot of people can’t process properly.

I’m working on a process to transition to all fresh milled flour - I currently offer these loaves on a pre-order basis and have some at the sourdough shack each week, but I would love to expand it further if there’s more interest 🤍
