An impactful way to change your hair without changing the overall look/colorβ€ΌοΈπŸ
This beautiful client was looking for a big change in a subtle way and we both loved how this burgundy underneath section came out 😍
Fun fact- This color was created using Rusk permanent color and NOT a vivid semi-permanent color.

Happy Friday everyone!
It’s that time of year again! Many clients have been asking how they can protect their hair while still enjoying the pool this summer.

Before you jump in, I wanted to share with you a few tips to protect your hair from the damaging effects of chlorine!
1.) Get your hair wet with non-chlorinated water first before getting your hair wet in the pool!
Your hair will absorb the cleaner water first instead of the chlorine!

2.) Apply a small amount of conditioner to your hair after rinsing with the clean water. The conditioner will create a barrier and also protect your hair from absorbing the chlorine in the pool water.

3.) When you are done swimming, wash your hair with a sulfate free shampoo. This will ensure you are cleansing your hair from the chlorine and it’s not sitting in your hair causing damage (or making it look green.)

4.) Ask me about a metal detox treatment! This treatment is done in the salon and removes impurities from you hair making it look shinier, feel healthier and assisting in reaching your hair color goals easier.
Take home products are also available to keep your hair healthy and free from metals and impurities from any water that touches your hair.

I hope these tips are helpful! Comment below with any questions!

Happy Friday and happy swimming! β˜€οΈ
