I’ve gotten superrrr weird about asking for photos at the end of my makeup application with all of my clients. And it’s not that I’m not proud of the work, or don’t like how it came out…I personally think I’m creating the best work of career! I am always so happy walking out of appointments, and asking for a photo just feels so pushy and disingenuous to me. Not to say that it is, or that I need anyone to convince me that it’s not! I know in my head that it’s a crucial part of my job to show my current work, so that my clients know what I’m all about. But I don’t know…I’ve gotten so weird about it.

I’m going to try and be better, but we’ll see! I just love the conversation and connection I build with each client, and to end the appointment with “can I take a picture” just feels so strange 😅

Rachel has such a beautiful eye shape, and she also has limited lid space. Her lash line is pretty close to her crease, so when she looks up, or is smiling a lot, the liner usually transfers (waterproof products or not, it transfers because of oil😕) We attempted liner at her trial, and it transferred, so what did we do? We just skipped the liner! Another reason I love my clusters, I can manipulate where each cluster goes, as tight to the lash line as possible, while also making sure they fit her eye shape perfectly and don’t lift in the corners! The goal is for everything to look as seamless as possible. I like using liner to perfectly blend the band into the lash line, but in cases like this, it’s a great alternative! The lashes fit her eyes so beautifully!

Natural bridal beauty!! Sharidan wanted super natural, super comfortable, looking very much like herself! I’m obsessed how the brown wing and the light wispy lashes look with her light features!

Hello! My name is Jocelyn, and I am a freelance MUA based out of CT, available to travel all over! I am currently booking the 2026 & 2027 season!
�I have really honed in on my style the last couple of years, finding my niche in achieving looks that look and feel like my clients, especially those who rarely or never wear makeup!

My rates include lashes and a touch up kit, they are $130/per person, $200 for the bride, as well as a travel fee depending where you would like me to travel to.
