Laser resurfacing will be done at our spa. Our knowledgable staff will guide you through the process, and make your experience with us one to remember. How long treatment takes depends on what is being done and your particular skin type. After Treatment:
For the first few days, your face may be protected with ointment or a dressing. You'll have some swelling and discomfort, and the skin will weep as it heals. Your skin will also look as if you have a sunburn. This can last for several weeks. However, the redness can be covered with makeup after 1 to 2 weeks. You must also wear sunscreen until the skin fully heals. You can return to work immediately. Risks and Complications:
These are rare, but can include lightening or darkening of the skin, infection, and scarring. Is Laser Resurfacing for You? Laser resurfacing can enhance your skin and leave it looking younger for years. There are some things to keep in mind, however. Fair skin responds best to laser treatment.
