I was born and raised in Germany, where my interest in dreadlocks began. In September 2013, I had my first five dreadlocks installed on the bottom of my head. I was amazed at how my hair was back combed and crocheted into mature-looking dreadlocks. In January 2014, I had the opportunity to attend a one-weekend workshop where I learned how to start, maintain, and extend dreadlocks using a comb and crochet hook. Since then, I have been continuously learning and gaining experience. In August 2014, I moved from Germany to Michigan with the dream of working as a full-time dreadlock artist. In 2016, that dream became a reality when I established Natty Dreads LLC. I truly love connecting with so many beautiful people and making their dreadlock dreams come true.

This video is way overdue. Combing out a dreadlock is as much of an art as creating one is. Mastering the art of combing out a dreadlock is important if you're a dreadlock artist. If you master this, you can ensure that the combed out hair is still healthy, which means an extension will hold more securely when you attach it, or that your client has as much hair left as possible after getting rid of their dreadlocks.

Hey guys, it's me Natty.
I haven't been very active on here but I am still doing dreadlocks, still taking new clients, still happy to serve all returning and OG clients.
Thanks for always supporting me and being here.
I've just been focusing on planning our wedding, renovating our house and building a second business alongside Natty Dreads LLC. Because let's be honest. Wealthy people don't rely on one stream of income only. Plus realistically, no one is able to stand behind a salon chair for a living for their whole life. It's been an interesting, busy but also fun time.
