motherhood has completely shifted my perspective on work/life balance. becoming a mom was a personal identity shift I was not prepared for whatsoever- quickly followed by a heavy career shift. my business and my career were essentially everything I knew and loved and I spent years seeking that "hustle and grind" mentality I thought was necessary to succeed.

the amount of extra hours spent outside of the salon working I now spend having dinner with my family, snuggling my little boy, resting, and doing things for myself and my mental health. things you cannot put a price on.

i feel beyond grateful to finally be in season of life where I don't have to be hustling hard to stay booked and busy. i finally found peace in filling my own cup to in turn be a better mom and a better stylist for my clients.

if you find yourself feeling guilty for not doing as much as you once could, I urge you to fill that space with things that bring you joy and
happiness. you deserve it.
