✂️ CLIENT UPDATE: I’M GETTING CLOSER!! ✂️

It’s been about a month since you last heard from me, and we’re finally approaching what I had hoped would be my return month! ❤️

This healing journey is taking a little longer than I originally anticipated, but I’m very happy to say that my bilateral hand and elbow surgeries were a success! 🙌

I do still have one more hurdle to clear. My next evaluation is October 15th, and we’re waiting to see what the next steps will be before officially reopening my books. As much as I want to give you all a date RIGHT NOW, I’d much rather wait until I know I can come back and stay back than open my schedule too soon and potentially have to disappoint you later.

That being said, I am very hopeful that I’ll be back behind my chair for your holiday haircuts, beard trims and shaves so I can keep you all looking your best for your family, friends, parties and pictures! 🎄💈✂️

And just in case you were wondering…

I still have your notes. I still know your hair. ❤️

The minute I have an official return date, YOU will know. I promise to keep you posted.

I cannot WAIT to finally make that announcement. I miss the shop. I miss cutting hair. And yes…I really miss catching up with each and every one of you.

✂️ A little check-in from your temporarily retired barber… 📣😁

Hi, everyone! I figured it was time to pop in and let you all know that YES, I’m alive! 😂 I’m healing, getting stronger, and getting closer and closer to being back behind my chair.
I seriously cannot tell you how much I miss you guys. I miss the shop, the conversations, the laughs…and, believe it or not, I actually miss doing hair! ❤️

And for anyone wondering, YES—I still have all of your notes. Your cuts, formulas, preferences, quirks, “don’t touch that spot,” “leave this part longer,” and all the little details we’ve figured out together over the years are safe with me. 😉 You will NOT be starting over when I come back!
For now, my job is to keep healing and make sure that when I return, I’m ready to really RETURN.
Thank you to everyone who has checked on me and continued asking when I’ll be back. It means more than you probably realize.

I cannot WAIT to get back behind my chair, catch up on everything I’ve missed, and see all of your faces again. ❤️💈✂️

You can't put a dollar amount on love and support. Our family feels incredibly supported and the love that has been pouring in has been incredible. We are truly blessed, thank you everyone ♥️

I just want to take a moment to shout out some HUGE Thank Yous 🙏 The support and love that has flooded through has just been incredible and, all of our hearts are touched deeply. ❤️

And thank you to my father, Ted Gattino 🎀
From the moment he received Allen's offbeat phone call on Saturday, he dropped everything. 22 hours of straight driving to come check on his son. Allen was pronounced dead shortly before he arrived. 🤧 my voice to texting in this page isn't enough space to describe all of the work that he did. Over the last week, while he was here and will still be doing coordinating with my mother.Just from back home. So far, they have worked out his cremation, about half of his property ( which wasn't much, but it's still such a headache. If anyone knows...) and are looking for the best time to hold his services.

A reporter contacted me yesterday morning and I subbed it out to my dad, of course. I'm about to read the article, but I hear there are several out now and as most of us have our own babies who are growing & maturing every single day i just want to say, love on them. Xoxo
