Whidbey⌠Iâm coming back. đ¤
It honestly feels so good to say that.
I miss my amazing clients, our conversations, and being in the treatment room with all of you. Iâm so grateful that even after moving to San Diego, so many of you have continued to support me. It truly means the world. Iâll be back August 26â31 for a limited pop-up, offering my Sculpt & Release Facial and Nano Maintenance Facial.
Since Iâll only be in town for a few days, booking will look a little different this time. To make scheduling as fair and efficient as possible, everyone interested will complete an Appointment Request Form. My returning clients will receive priority scheduling before I begin booking new clients.

June has been full of unpacking, settling in, chasing sunsets, beach days with my son, and soaking up every moment with family. It hasnât been perfect, but itâs been beautiful. Happy to be back. âď¸

A little reintroduction for my San Diego friends. đ¤
Hi, Iâm Raphel-Marie, a Filipino-American esthetician, military spouse, mama, Scorpio, and the face behind Skin by RM.
Iâm a first-generation daughter of immigrant parents from the Philippines, originally from Stockton, California.
Military life has taken our family across the country - from Virginia to Washington - and now weâre finally making our way back home to California.
I specialize in sensitive skin and myofascial sculpting massage because I believe skincare should be more than a treatment - it should be a place to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and feel cared for.
My faith, family, and Filipino roots shape everything I do. Whether itâs creating a peaceful treatment experience, educating my clients, or helping someone feel confident in their skin, my goal is always the same: to serve with intention and care.
Iâm so excited to begin this next chapter in San Diego and connect with the amazing community here. If youâre a military spouse, mama, sensitive-skin girlie, or simply looking for a more personalized skincare experience, I canât wait to meet you.

The jaw is one of the most common places we hold tension.
Stress, teeth grinding, clenching, headaches, long hours at a desk, and even everyday facial expressions can leave the masseter muscle feeling tight and overworked.
During my Sculpt & Release Facial, I use myofascial sculpting techniques to gently release tension, encourage circulation, and help the face return to a more relaxed state.
As Iâm settling into this new chapter and relocation, Iâm already missing being in the treatment room. đ¤ There is something so special about helping someone relax, release tension, and leave feeling lighter than when they arrived.
I canât wait to get my hands back on faces again soon. â¨

Before the clients, the certifications, the facials, and even before I fully believed in myself⌠there was you. Through motherhood, the âwhat am I doing with my life?â moments, going back to school, late nights studying, and the uncertainty that came with starting over â you never stopped believing in me.
Youâve been my first client, my forever guinea pig for every new massage technique, every sculpting movement, every class and certificate Iâve brought home excited about. And no matter what, you always remind me that Iâm good at what I do.
Giving you one last Sculpt & Release facial in this studio felt really emotional, because this space holds so much of our story too. Thank you for holding me through every season while I learned how to grow into myself again.
