If pigmentation is one of your concerns, your sunscreen matters.

UVA, UVB, and even visible light can play a role in pigmentation. That’s one reason I especially like tinted sunscreen for clients who are prone to dark spots or melasma. Tinted formulas containing iron oxides can provide additional protection against visible light.

It’s not about finding the “perfect” sunscreen. It’s about finding one that works for your skin—and actually wearing it consistently. ☀️

As an esthetician, I’ve learned that sunscreen is about so much more than preventing a sunburn.

Daily UV exposure plays a role in premature aging, fine lines, loss of firmness, uneven skin tone, and pigmentation—the very concerns so many of my clients come to me wanting help with.
