Secret City Glow Appointment Policy

Before your next visit, here’s a quick briefing on how appointments work at Secret City Glow.

Appointments can be booked through our booking link at secretcityglow.glossgenius.com or by calling the studio directly at (865) 315-6749. We cannot make, cancel, or modify appointments by email, so please don’t send requests that way.

A credit or debit card is mandatory to reserve any appointment. No exceptions.

Need to make a change? You can modify your appointment using the link in your text or email reminder, or by calling or texting the studio at (865) 315-6749. Our 24-hour policy applies to all changes. Any cancellation, reschedule, or other modification made with less than 24 hours’ notice is subject to a 50% fee. We also understand that life happens, and we’ll be considerate in appropriate cases.

Please plan to arrive on time. If you’re more than 10 minutes late, you’ll need to reschedule and a fee will be charged. Brow shaping appointments have a 5-minute grace period only, since they’re so precise and our schedule is tightly planned.

Finally, a word about respect. Our service providers and support staff are quite literally just doing their jobs, and they do them beautifully. Guests who are rude or disrespectful to our team will be banned from the studio. No dollar is worth disrespecting the people who care for you here.

It’s Monday-eve! 😵‍💫 Michaela is in the studio tomorrow from 12pm to 6pm and there’s a promo going on for just her! Celebrate her spray tan training graduation with a $30 new artist tan - she’s got a few openings left.

Secret City Glow is looking for a part-time team member for afterschool hours, and we'd love for it to be a Junior or Senior who's curious about the beauty industry and ready to get a real behind-the-scenes look at how a boutique esthetics studio runs. If you have a teen who loves all things glow, skincare, and making people feel good about themselves, this could be the perfect first step into a career they might love.

PART-TIME FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST POSITION

We're looking for someone responsible and punctual who shows up ready to go, with reliable transportation to and from work and their own cell phone for staying in touch with the team. Above all, we want someone outgoing and bubbly, the kind of person who makes every guest feel welcome the moment they walk through the door.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• check in/out guests
• answer calls and texts
• assist with retail purchases
• light housekeeping of the salon (dusting, vacuuming, glass cleaning, trash, etc.)
• assisting service providers between clients with cleanup
• retail stocking and inventory tracking
• cash handling

Current hours are Thursdays and Fridays from 3:30 to 6:00 and every Saturday from 9:00 to 3:00. Pay starts at $12 per hour, and this is an official, on-the-books position, not a cash or under-the-table job. We know school comes first, so we're happy to work around school events and break schedules, and additional hours can be made available during school breaks for anyone who wants to pick up extra time.
