Update:
Stanislaus County announced there is no reopening date for personal services.

*IMPORTANT UPDATE ABOUT PERSONAL SERVICES and more**

Stanislaus County is unable to confirm an opening date for personal services (nail salons, tattoo parlors, etc.) at this time.

While we have received many requests to reopen these businesses in our community and were hoping to be able to do so by July 1, we have also received a recommendation from the California Department of Public Health to close some current businesses (bars) due to our increased cases and hospitalizations from COVID-19.

We are scheduling a meeting of the Board of Supervisors for Tuesday, July 7th to discuss the impact of COVID-19 in our community and receive a report on the latest orders and recommendations from the State.

Hi everyone! As of today, we still do not have an official reopening date. We're waiting on Stanislaus county to announce an update within the next 24-48 hours!

**Update on Personal Services Business & State recommendations on bars**

On Sunday, June 28th we learned that the State of California issued updated orders and recommendations for the closure of bars in many communities throughout the State, including Stanislaus County. We are seeking clarification from the State on what discretion, if any, we have as a local community to make this decision. We expect clarification within the next 24-48 hours.

While we await this information, we must also delay any planned decisions and announcements regarding further reopening of personal services businesses.

We recognize the confusion and associated impacts of these delayed actions and appreciate your patience as we work with the State to clarify these important issues.
