As someone who believes in the power of community, it is essential for me to make my offerings accessible. Therefore, I will be offering a scholarship for the ROOT’s 2022 Summer Wellness Retreat that will include Campsite lodging for the selected applicant.

- Are Black, Indigenous, Person of Color
- Are LGBTQ+
- Experience financial hardship and have instability in home or food
- Have medical expenses not covered by insurance and significant debt
- Are eligible for public assistance

This past weekend, I participated in an Access Consciousness Bars training at Aloha Farm in Homestead, FL. 🐚
⠀
Access Bars are 32 points on your head that, when gently touched, effortlessly, and easily release anything that stops you from feeling joy and ease in your life.
⠀
I have been inviting in this energy practice for some time now and am grateful that I had the opportunity to receive it and practice it in community.
⠀
I love this practice because it’s like an energetic reset and a clearing to all of our perceived and taught beliefs and our supposed knowings that we find ourselves so desperately clinging to.
⠀
Access Consciousness teaches us that it all begins with a question; the question empowers and the answer always dis-empowers. Being in the question can change the energy of any situation!

After giving and receiving this practice on Monday, I left joyful and woke up the next day feeling lighter and spacious! ✨
⠀
There are several tools this practice teaches, but I am starting simply with no judgement to myself which is to practice, practice, practice and play with the energy of ease, joy and glory.

Remember 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰 and 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 is all available to us, but the choice is ours!

Gratitude is the doorway to appreciate what is present and true for us in the moment!

This is a practice I constantly have to revisit and I feel the profound shifts when I cultivate my gratitude list!
⠀
Sometimes when life wears on us, and it feels heavy, it may be challenging to focus on what’s good. But we always have the choice, to tune in and count our blessings! 🌈

I will start…. I am grateful for this new day I’ve been gifted, my health, my family, friends and gorgeous furbaby Luna and lastly, for the opportunity to create change in my life.

Recently, I caught up with a community friend .soul.style on the phone and it felt so good to connect. 💛She asked me, “Tiffany how are you, how is Florida?” I smiled and gently laughed and my response was simple.

𝓛𝓲𝓯𝓮 𝓲𝓼 𝓼𝔀𝓮𝓮𝓽. It was a Monday morning at around 10 AM and we were on the phone catching up while I was driving over to the West Coast of Florida to visit my parents. I explained to her that just five short months ago, on a Monday at 10 AM I would be probably dealing with a crisis at work, feeling defeated, and stressed.

For those of you that don’t know, I was a community social worker for eight years. As much as I value my time serving the community and most importantly the clients that I shared time and space with over the years, It was a job that really took a toll on me for a variety of reasons. I look forward to sharing more about that in the future. 🦋

With all that said, in that moment on the phone, I realized how much change has happened, and I felt really grateful that I had the opportunity to create change in my life - as so many people don’t.

So, community I want to hear from you…. What are you grateful for???

Yesterday I was reminded from a community friend that “nature doesn’t judge us and provides the medicine we need.”
⠀
It felt good to feel the sun, seek out new connections, dance, to pick mulberries until my fingers were dyed purple, and laugh!!!!!
⠀
What a lunar eclipse it was. Remembering the truth of what is important. Being held by the mother and sipping in the beauty of others and my own spirit!
