Evergreen Essence fills the room with the quiet depth of cedar, moss, and lavender. A tallow and beeswax base creates a slow, clean burn that brings warmth to everyday moments.

For the body that carries everything.
This Mother’s Day, we are celebrating twelve years of
Founded by Megan Bre Camp, chef, natural perfumer, and mother, Summer Solace began as an offering of care for babies, families, sensitive skin, and the body in need of tending.
Twelve years later, that offering remains the same.
Every balm is still made by hand in Oakland with traditional methods, regional regenerative ingredients, and a devotion to craft that can be felt on the skin.
A celebration of mothers.
A celebration of care.
A celebration of the body that carries everything.

Twelve years of Summer Solace Tallow.
Twelve years of rendering, pouring, blending, labeling, packing, and returning again and again to the integrity of handmade goods.
Our balms are made with suet tallow from regeneratively raised Northern California cattle, regional olive oil, beeswax from Oakland apiaries, and botanicals chosen for their purpose, scent, and quality.
Each jar carries the work of many hands: ranchers, farmers, beekeepers, distillers, makers, and mothers.
This Mother’s Day, we honor the craft of care and the people who keep it alive.
Made slowly.
Made intentionally.
Made by hand in Oakland.

A balm from a mother.
Care does not need to be elaborate to be profound.
A small amount of soothing tallow, warmed between the hands. Pressed into the neck, chest, shoulders, belly, hands, or feet. The places that hold tension, memory, work, and love.
This Mother’s Day, we celebrate twelve years of Summer Solace Tallow and the mother behind every jar.
Megan Bre Camp founded Summer Solace as a chef, natural perfumer, and mother, guided by traditional methods, regional regenerative ingredients, and a belief that daily care can be simple, sensual, and enduring.
For mothers.
For the body.
For the quiet ritual of returning to yourself.

Regenerative by Nature 🌾
Good for your skin. Better for the land.
Not all tallow is created equal. uses regenerative, grass-finished tallow sourced from local Northern California ranches, supporting soil health, carbon drawdown, and ethical animal husbandry.
By honoring the whole animal and diverting nutrient-rich fat from waste, each bar reflects a more thoughtful, circular approach to skincare.

Simple Ways to Care for the Earth (and Your Skin)
Sustainability doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s often the small, consistent choices that matter most. Here are a few ways to bring that into your daily routine:
🌿 Use less, more effectively
Our formulas are concentrated. A small amount goes a long way.
🌿 Choose multi-use products
One balm can replace multiple products in your routine.
🌿 Support regenerative sourcing Look for brands that give back to the land, not just take from it.
