In December, 1981, About Face and Body (AFAB) was born out of a small North Berkeley space by Shannon Dorsey. Shannon is a talented and ambitious entrepreneur who was determined to live out her passion of owning a business and providing body treatments that promote beauty and well-being. What started out with facials, eyelash/eyebrow tinting, waxing and massage, has now evolved into a well experienced staffed salon and spa offering whole body treatments. In the midst of everyday hustle and bustle, AFAB provides the perfect restoration haven for busy savvy clients.
