Growing out grey can be very hard when you've been coloring it dark brown for years! It took a couple sessions but I finally got to silver highlights that blend in perfectly with her new natural growth coming in! 🙌💁

Bristlecone Pine Images by Joel G...
Joel G has been a photographer for 23 years. His main photographic focus has been the interaction of society and nature. These images are of Bristlecone Pine trees in the White Mountains of California. Bristlecone Pine trees can live for over 4,000 years. Being in the presence of trees that have been growing since the Great Pyramids of Egypt were built, lived through the rise and fall of the Ancient Greeks and everything since is an emotional experience.
His hope is that these images capture some of the grandeur and perspective that these trees present.

Saw Blade Flowers by Wesley Skinner...
Sprouted from the junkyard, these flowers bloomed in a metal shop. They started as humble circular-saw blades that were cut apart, welded, and then forged and hammered into shape. They then grew stems of welded chain or rod, with leaves of stainless steel. Finally, they evolved their pistils and stamens from tools, parts, and sometimes copper.

Each flower has a unique finish. Some are clean, raw steel. Others have a special chemical patina that develops unpredictably into unique patterns of color and texture. A few combine all of the above, with iridescent coating.
