Two years in this industry. In two years, I learned a lot. My first 3-4 months in a shop I got a 20 year crash course on how to REALLY cut. I appreciate Gis for that for real because he ain’t have to do that. I also learned that this is a cut throat industry for some reason? Idk why but it’s just like that. I learned that clients will become friends sooner than friends become clients. I learned that you HAVE to have a social media presence these days, something I’m still working on. I learned a lot of negatives and positives alike but truth be told I’m still glad that I took that leap and initiative to become a barber. I’m proud of myself for going through the trials and tribulations to get here and I’m grateful for everybody who trusts me to give them a fire cut.
