This is not something I would normally post here, but If this can save even one person by sharing this then I know I have helped someone have more years with there family like my doctor has helped me.

Since last September, I've been quietly navigating a journey with melanoma that has affected every one of my limbs and the ribs on my left side. Between 13 biopsies and 7 surgeries so far, it's been a lot to handle physically. Every procedure has been to stop a much worse diagnosis in the future and to ensure I'm healthy for years to come with my family!

It's been tough dealing with the daily limitations at work & especially not being able to jump in and swim with my kids, but it hasn't stopped me from being a mom, a wife, or a stylist. I refuse to let this define me; I'm doing this to ensure a long future with my family, and I'm so happy to be nearing the end of this chapter.

I'm not 100% at the finish line yet—I still have 3 biopsies to go! Last month I got my first benign biopsy since September -but I'm feeling positive and so thankful for my dermatologist's expertise and my family's support. I'm just grateful I found this so young. Don't forget to get your skin checked guys it could save your life now & for the future!!

I go to Dr Freeman dermatology in Ocala & they gave me 15 years of my life back by having one mole checked out leading to 7 months of melanoma surgery. Skin Cancer is no joke! Get your skin checked if you’re concerned about any spots !! Thank you to all my clients who have been through this journey with me sharing your personal stories in my chair & helping me with advice & concern every time you came to see me. I love you all ! 🖤

Seeing Scarlett get ready for spring pictures today took my breath away—I saw my mother’s face looking right back at me. From my mom, to me, to my baby girl... the legacy lives on in every strand and every smile. My mom may be gone, but she is never far away; we see her reflection in the mirror every single day. Proof that the people we love never truly leave us.
