Started the race 3 minutes late⦠literally the last person to cross the starting line, and still placed 7th out of 43 in my age group and 83rd out of 410 overall. šš¼āØ
My pace was 9:39 per mile ā slower than previous years ā but honestly, Iām still proud of myself because I never trained to run. Iām not even a runner. I simply showed up and gave it what I had anyway.
Thatās the thing about life⦠discipline will carry you places motivation never can.
No matter how many obstacles, distractions, delays, setbacks, or attacks the enemy throws your way, the person who keeps showing up with consistency, faith, discipline, and dedication will always rise again. You may get delayed, but you are never denied when you refuse to quit on yourself.
Success is not about perfection.Itās about resilience.Itās about continuing to move forward even when things feel hard, uncomfortable, exhausting, or imperfect.
Today reminded me that personal victory isnāt always about being first⦠sometimes itās simply about proving to yourself that you are stronger than every excuse, fear, obstacle, or limitation that tried to stop you.
Growth happens when you continue showing up for yourself even during the seasons when nobody sees the internal battles you had to overcome just to keep moving forward.
Happy Motherās Day to all the incredible mothers out there. š· Your strength, sacrifice, unconditional love, patience, and endurance deserve to be celebrated every single day!

š Beginner: lightāmoderate weight
š Intermediate: challenging but controlled
š Advanced: heavy + slow tempo
⨠Barbell Squats
4 sets x 8ā12 reps
š Pick a weight where the last 2 reps feel HARD
(If it feels easy⦠itās too light)
⨠Walking Lunges
3 sets x 12ā16 steps each leg
š Dumbbells optional
š Focus on control, not speed
⨠Romanian Deadlifts (RDLs)
3ā4 sets x 10ā12 reps
š Moderate to heavy weight
š You should FEEL the stretch in your hamstrings
⨠Leg Press or Leg Extensions (Burnout)
3 sets x 12ā15 reps

Key tip:
If youāre not slightly struggling by the last few reps⦠increase the weight.
