•With previous banding + breakage, healthy results were the priority. I did a full highlight, then colored everything left outside of the foils with Redken Shades Alkaline levels 7 + 8 to bring her natural depth back through the blonde and create a softer, more seamless blend.

•Healthy blonde always comes first. 💛 Before a single foil was placed, I prepped the hair with K18 Hair PRO Mist to help strengthen the hair before lightening and protect the integrity of every strand.
•
•For this transformation, I used Redken Blonde IQ, starting with 10 volume, moving to 20 volume, and finishing with 30 volume where needed for even, controlled lift. (Still wishing they made a 40 volume.)

•We achieved this look using Flash Lift, then toned with Shades EQ 10NP, 9G, and Crystal Clear to create a seamless, sun-kissed blonde with plenty of dimension.

•Before any lightening, I treated the hair with the Professional Molecular Repair Hair Mist. This pre-service treatment works on a molecular level to help strengthen the hair before chemical services by reconnecting broken keratin chains. Using it before blonding helps protect the hair’s integrity throughout the lifting process, allowing for healthier-looking results while helping maintain softness, strength, and elasticity.

•We started this service with the PRO Molecular Repair Hair Mist, and honestly this has been such a game changer behind the chair. This professional treatment is designed to help support the hair before chemical services by helping strengthen and protect the hair’s structure during the lightening process. When working through previous dark color and layers of red pigment, maintaining the health of the hair is just as important as achieving the final result.

•For her lightening service, I used Blonde IQ for a controlled, even lift while still keeping the hair feeling healthy and manageable throughout the process.

• Root tap: Shades Alkaline 6NA + 6N
• Final gloss: Shades Alkaline 9V + 9NA + Clear

•To finish the service, we did the Acidic Bonding Concentrate Professional backbar treatment. This treatment is one of my favorites for blonding services because it helps restore hydration, reinforce weakened bonds, balance pH, and leave the hair feeling stronger and smoother after lightening.
