The City of Ocean Springs has partnered with Fulgham’s Inc Tree Preservation Specialist and the Ocean Springs Environmental Alliance to give away over 500 trees to Ocean Springs Residents in celebration of Arbor Day on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to Noon at the Ocean Springs Dog Park located at 3810 Bienville Blvd.

This tree giveaway is open to all Ocean Springs residents. Residents will be able to choose from the following trees: white oak, pecan, cherry bark, black gum, and live oak. There will be a limit of 2 per person.

A Community Project & Act of Kindness

Sometimes the beauty of humanity comes through the hearts of children.

Inspired by their dedication to a Community Project in their lives, Evan, Joe and Andrew set forth to find a project to show kindness to the community. When I was approached to have the front of the shop transformed into a more inviting space using donated plants, pavers and time—I was speechless.

I can only express my deep heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for their help, kindness and example… making the world a more beautiful place our hearts know is possible, one step at a time.
