Getting to celebrate with my couples throughout their entire engagement season is SO special to me!! From the proposal to the wedding weekend, being trusted to capture all of these memories is such an honor!

Taylor first sat in my chair as a bridesmaid at another wedding and later claimed that was her bridal trial 😂

After getting to experience my work and how I care for my brides from a different perspective, she trusted me to be part of her own wedding day!! That kind of confidence in me and my craft means more than I can explain!

It was such a joy celebrating her and doing makeup for her and her loved ones! She gave me full creative trust, and I think she looked absolutely STUNNING!!

And getting messages like this after a wedding day?! Truly one of my favorite parts of what I do. 🥹

This sweetheart teared up when she saw her glam reveal 🥹 and THAT is what it’s all about!!

She gave me full trust with her makeup, described what she liked and how she wanted to feel, and let me do my thing. Seeing how much she loved it was so special.

She felt beautiful for such a sweet day celebrating her dad as the groom. 🤍 Fairhope, Alabama wedding weekends are quickly becoming a favorite!

Yesterday was our wedding anniversary 🤍 and it had me thinking about how much becoming a bride myself changed the way I care for mine.

Putting a wedding together is a LOT, and even after years of working in the wedding industry, there were parts I never fully understood until it was my turn to wear the veil.

It gave me such a new appreciation for the people you surround yourself with, giving yourself grace, and pacing the day so there’s actually time to enjoy all those little moments you worked so hard for.

And yes, that’s me doing my sister’s makeup on my own wedding day 😂 I did my own + three others that morning. For me, it was grounding. It slowed me down and gave me intentional time with some of my favorite people.

I think that’s why I love being a calming presence for my brides now. Helping you remember the little things, making the morning feel a little easier, and reminding you to soak it all in. 🤍

I’ve been on both sides now. I get it.
