Do powder brows replace the need for brow makeup? 🤨

Yes and No 😅

Permanent makeup can not achieve the highly saturated look of eyebrow makeup for one very specific reason. Eyebrow makeup sits on top of the skin while permanent makeup sits under the skin.

With that said, permanent makeup can definitely enhance, define and accentuate a more desirable shape. And for many women that is sufficient to go with out additional eyebrow makeup.

I personally believe that with permanent makeup
A more natural approach is best. If you have been one of my clients I constantly tell you “THE LESS INK WE HAVE TO DO ,THE BETTER”!!!! Why is this? Over time your skin layers will become saturated with ink. If your artist is working on your skin too deeply or too often you will eventually have over saturated eyebrows.

Remember! Permanent makeup can not replace the deep saturation you achieve with regular makeup, permanent makeup is an ENHANCEMENT. Yes I want to make my clients happy on their appointment date but I also want you to be happy 5+ ,10+ years from now…. And the best way to do that is to work conservatively and set realistic expectations for your eyebrows 💗

Remember this is a relatively PERMANENT procedure on your face! Thinking about long term results should be an important factor for both artist and client 🥰

Although these look very dark and saturated they will heal much softer. During our initial session I always try to work more conservatively to see how your skin responds to the ink. Some client retain a lot while others need more saturations even for a soft look. Less is more with permanent makeup!

Eyebrows can make a big difference in your overall appearance 💗 they should accentuate your natural features. Here is a perfect example of how a bit more eyebrow definition intensifies the beauty of her eyes!
