Two Missing Horses A bay and a red mare spooked and ran off near Big Laguna Lake under saddle today 10/21 around 3pm. Bikers said they spotted them on the Los Gatos Ravine Trail, headed towards the Auga Dulce Trailhead where the trailer was parked. Horses have not been found. Please contact me ASAP if sighted. Horses can easily be caught and are wearing full tack. 406-691-0057

I am filled with gratitude as we step into 2025. I am fortunate to work with owners who absolutely hold their horses’ wellness as highest priority. I work with horses for injury recovery, performance preparation, brain health, comfort, maintenance, and even companionship.

I love this planet, but sometimes think-If all creatures had stewards such as my clients, utopia may be realized. Seriously. The world needs more of you.

We got started a little late on this wound, but even with the first treatment at 10 days post-injury and a set-back at day 13 (photo 2), wound healing accelerated nicely by Day 16.

As spring takes hold, I am filled with such gratitude for my clients, trainers and barn-family. The love, support and patience you have provided over the last 6 months as I pivoted away from the equine world and dove deep into family was, and frankly still is, palpable. I am so blessed to have each and every one of you (and your ponies) in my life.

Though this is a human study, it holds great promise for cold laser therapy as treatment for equine osteoarthritis. It is so exciting to see peer reviewed studies supporting such an accessible treatment option for a condition with with so many of our equine partners contend.

Remember though, a tool is only as good as the user. Find a certified practitioner!

Did you know a Praying Mantis can kill and eat a Humming Bird?

I was dusting out Doc’s stall this morning and found this “displaced” creature up in a corner. I felt bad for the little fellah (~4 in long) so took him out to the Prim Roses. After diving down the google rabbit hole, watching videos and reading entomology posts, it seems I should have left him well enough alone as the resident stall guardian.
