Melanin-Rich Lips - First Session

Started my client’s lip neutralization journey 2 months ago 💝 Using yellow, peach, and orange pigments, worked to lift the cool, ashy tones before adding her dream shade.

✨ Reminder: Neutralization usually takes multiple sessions. Please skip requests for wine reds or fuchsia pinks at the start. These tones won’t heal true until the base is warm and even.

Melanin rich lips, first session. Yellow, peach, and orange pigments used. Neutralization process was explained in depth and my sweet client understood the end goal ✔️💝

Note that multiple sessions are mostly required to neutralize. Please don’t request for wine red and fuchsia pink tones if your lips are melanin rich 😫 (I always get asked for these colors).

The end goal is to get rid of the unwanted cool, ashy tones. Once the lips are no longer cool in tone, we can proceed tattooing the desired color.
